I recently acquired a Stearns 8086 based PC Compat system with HD, Flop, 640KB, etc... Unfortunately this guy has misplaced his manuals. I can't find a reference to Stearns anywhere. The PWB is dated 1983/84 by Stearns Computers, but I cannot locate any address (even in Byte Mags from that time). What I'm interested in, is getting the hardware manuals or any info on the two sets of DIP switches (SW1 and SW2). I've already checked to see if these switches are PC compatible, but they're not. My problem is that the HD works, but I can't get this machine to find it, and also this has a very interesting DISPLAY subsystem and I suspect it does both CGA and MONO. If anyone can please give me a lead on this machine, I'd really appreciate it? Any ideas on how to find this manufacture would also be appreciated! Thanks so much! ~Mark
