You have to run the SETUP program for your AT (nothing to do with ram3000), and tell it about the new memory. Ie. set it for 640K base and 384K extended in the SETUP program. This modifies the non-volative CMOS that the BIOS looks at on reset to determine how much memory it has (rather than simply looking for memory, it must be told about it. silly.). I would be very suspicious about the current setting, however. Are you 100% positive that there really is NOT 512K extended already on the motherboard? Have fun! -- ___Mark S.
