That is how much there is space on my memory board. I wanted speed so I bought and installed 1M 256k dips but they are 80ns. First, I wanted to put them in the low memory - alas my computer couldn't pass even hardware test - screen was blank, no characteristic beep before any other power-on-tests. So, I put the new 80ns chips in the high memory. Everything is fine, computer recognizes 2M starts up fine. Now I install MS-WINDOWS 3.0, include HIMEM.SYS in my config.sys and oplaa. After initial ms-windows screen and about 2 sec, everything goes black and system reboots. I thought it doesn't like my 386 so I try win /r . System displays initial screen, goes blank and then, suspicious error: RAM PARITY ERROR, and then gives location 0:0. COULD IT BE THE MEMORY anybody, help Thanks. Neb
