We're looking into replacing 6 DECstation 3100s with entry-level
AViiONs (AV 200).  In just over one year, only 1 has not broken.
The other 5 (including the server) have broken at least 3 times
EACH.  Field Service has been atrocious.

I've used MVs in the past (DG/UX 2.02 - 4.10) and was very pleased
with their reliability and with hardware and software support
(both the best I've ever encountered).

I'd like to know about people's experiences with the AViiONs.
Are they as reliable as the MVs?  Is DG service as knowledgable
about them as they are about the MVs?  How is DG/UX 4.{2,3}0?

If I get good responses (and I can sell the PMAXen :-), you'll have
made 5 engineers, 2 system adminstrators and 3 or 4 managers
very happy.
