Dear Netter:
  I got a new question of my HD. Last night, I opened my IIcx and found that
my 40M HD is Sony SRD2040A-02. As you know, I have HD no response problem
several days ago then it comes back again. I have backed up all my files now.
However the answear I got from many people all point to Quamtum or Seagate
HD which Apple has offered a free fix.
  Does anyone out there has a IIcx with Sony drive (40M) as mine and
has experienced the same problem as I did?
  Is that possible I read it wrong? I mean the mark on my HD is Sony and
actually it's Quantum or Seagate HD?
  Please e-mail to my address. Any information is heartly appreciated.
By the way, my machine is still under the one year warranty. Should I bring
it to a dealer for a look even though it is working fine now? Will they
charge me if they can't find a problem.
