Summary: Adobe Type Reunion has problems with SOME fonts Keywords: Adobe Type Reunion Message-ID: <3146@wrgate.WR.TEK.COM> Date: 2 Aug 90 18:24:32 GMT References: <530@al.ele.tue.nl> Sender: news@wrgate.WR.TEK.COM Reply-To: herbw@midas.WR.TEK.COM (Herb Weiner) Organization: Tektronix, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Lines: 18 The default Adobe Type Reunion menu has problems with some fonts. The workaround is to hold down the shift key to get the standard font menu. The specific problems I have discovered are: 1. The Chicago Symbols font does not appear, either by itself or as a submenu of Chicago. (Chicago Symbols is a PostScript type 3 font, I believe from CE Software, which includes some of the special symbols (like the command key symbol) from the Chicago font.) 2. The New Baskerville Fractions font, a modified font I created using Parafont, does not appear in the menu. I reported these problems to Adobe Technical Support on July 6. The Technical Support representative promised to call me back, but he never did. Herb Weiner (herbw@midas.WR.TEK.COM)
