If running under multifinder, the application will quit with a "Application quit unexpectedly (3)" when I try to access any meny item. If I restart under the finder only, the system crash's with the bomb and error (10). If I don't use the menus, using the command keys instead, everything works fine. I am running system 6.03 and Excel 2.2a. No other application causes this problem. If I try the same copy on another machine, with the same setup, it works fine. I tried reloading from the original floppies - no go. I re-built the desktop, zapped the pram, installed a fresh copy of the system, got rid of all inits and cdevs etc, but no-go. I talked to my local apple reps but they didn't have any suggestions. Only to talk to Microsoft, that got me nothing either. ~v .
