 Hi! help required!! you guys are life savers!!

 I have a novell 286 fileserver due to a memory error it went down..so I got
 a new memory card and got the system up and running again, It also runs
 VAPS to handle macs on localtalk...The problem I am facing is that The  
 LaserWriter connected to the fileserver through the serial port does not
 work anymore...I checked the serial port and it is fine...no problems
 I tried it on a different station and the printer works....Any ideas..????

 Server has only one serial port I have a HP laserjet on the parallel port!
 any gurus can help...???? please!!!

 Base memory = 2 Meg 
 Expansion card AST rampage 2 Meg (256k dram chips) not fully populated!
