I have copies of gif files, but I have a Mac SE with 2 Meg. Any public domain stuff capable of displaying background files would be greatly appreciated. Marcel Laforce If you are using the monitor built into your SE (not an external one) a good program is called "Backdrop." It will put a background picture on your desktop instead of the usual desktop patterns. BUT, the pictures must be in Macpaint format. If you're interested, I'm pretty sure that Backdrop is available at the Stanford ftp site: Sumex.stanford.edu Let me know how it goes! Jeff
