I want to be able to print to things out on the HP Laserjet (series 1) at work connected to a Novell DOS server. The way I see this happening is to somehow configuring the programs I want to print with to output HP Laserjet data/format/code [non-postscript] (I want to use MS Word and PageMaker). Then print to a file instead of any printer port or such. Later, download that file while I'm at work and simply DOS copy it directly to the HP LaserJet (LPT1:). The problems I have are: 1) I need print drivers for an HP LaserJet to work with my MAC software. 2) I need a program or init or somthing to redirect output to the printer port to a file instead. 3) Will this actually work? - A side note: The MAC SE/30 I have was an upgrade kit so I don't have the 1.4M supper drive. I have an 800k drive. Is there *** ANY *** way to read IBM 720k or even single sided DOS disks??? It would save me a lot of 2400 baud down/uploading. If you have any insights or have any cdevs or inits to help me, please leave me a message!!! I'm sure others could make use of this same such thing.
