I have a problem whereby I can telnet to other machines quite happily but I can't telnet from other machines to mine. The platform is a Sun 4/260 running SunOS 4.0.3. /etc/services and /etc/inetd.conf look alright, but I cant think of what else might cause problems. in.telnetd does start up on the 4/260 when you telnet to it, and you get the usual "connected to .." stuff, but it does not come up with a login prompt.. Any ideas?? Regards, Grant Collins
