Is there an easy way to take control of the amount of shift used
between pages on alternate sides for a twosided document?
 have a document that currently has the correct (for my thesis) minimum
margin on one side of the page but an incorrect size when the alternate
page is produced: I know I can reduce my page size so that all margins
are greater than the min but this seems rather silly.
