Message-ID: <1186@psych.stanford.edu> Date: 1 Aug 90 23:16:14 GMT Sender: connie@psych.Stanford.EDU (Constance Stillinger) Reply-To: connie@psych.Stanford.EDU (Constance Stillinger) Distribution: usa Organization: Stanford University Lines: 19 I am using the "tabular" environment in LaTeX to create tables, and I would like to be able to center an entry in a column vertically, so that it spans 2 rows. This would correspond to vertically spanning in tbl. (What I want is not satisfied by defining an extra row between the original two; I don't want the extra space between them.) How does one do this? Please send email. (Anyone who wants copies of the responses may email me, also.) Thanks! Connie Constance Stillinger connie@psych.stanford.edu (Now ass't prof. at Northwestern Univ.) -------
