I'm trying to create a customized version of an Informix 4GL runner (fglgo), under ISC UNIX 2.0.2 (and ISC Software Development System V2.0), by linking in some "C" language functions of my own. Informix has a utility (cfglgo) that compiles and links user specified functions along with 4gl libraries into a version of fglgo that permits 4gl access to "C" functions When I run cfglgo, the following symbols are undefined: (_fltused, _ftoc, _fac, _ftol & ftime). This is true even if I try to build a standard runner, without any user defined functions. The version of 4gl that I'm using is 2.10.03K for a Compaq Deskpro '386 & AT&T Unix 5.3. I've tried to get help from Informix support, but it seems that ISC is not among the *NIX vendors supported. I'd appreciate any help from anyone who has successfully built a custom 4gl runner in this environment and can let me know what Informix 4GL product configuration they have. I can't believe that I'm the only ISC user that has tried this. If there is sufficient interest, I'll summarize the results. Bob Zachok
