Yup.  "Robert" is not the correct spelling for "Marshall Kirk", as in
"Marshall Kirk McKusick".

...and the file system that it checks in 4.[23]BSD (although there were
probably a few bits of the old V7 file system's "fsck" lying around in
the 4.[23]BSD one, at least until recently). 

The other authors of the BSD book are Samuel J. Leffler, Michael J. 
Karels, and John S. Quarterman. 

The full title of the book is *The Design and Implementation of the
