I am assuming you mean year when stating a given date? If so, try using 'cal'. It will give you a calendar for any year 1-9999 not that the calendar is any good way back. You can also specify a month using the number of the month. So if I want to know about Dec 7, 1941, I type 'cal 12 1941' Hope this helps. Sean Coleman NIST Boulder, CO
