 I have a program, object database server, that is running under
 VMS on a VAX and have been told that UNIX is incapable of 
 supporting the software. "UNIX doesn't do multitasking or have
 shared memory."
 I plead ignorance, obviously, is it likely that the vendor is it
 likely that the vendor is protecting a sacred bovine?
