But unfortunatly one of the applications I hoped would benifit from a 386 environment (win3) now hangs at the logo stage. The ega.sys spews out something about "Warning! loading ega driver on top of another ega driver" and names off some addreses and concludes with something to the effect of "using default [addresses] ega driver installed." So I tried installing it for CGA, it hung in the same place. I have been reading that some of ya'll have had problems with large hard disks so I guess it's worth mentioning that I am using two fixed disks formatted to 42 and 43 Mb dos 4.01 partitions. Additionally still others have reported very long loading times on SX machines so I gave the thing half an hour to load (windows stops hitting the disk after about 15 sec.) Has anyone had such problems? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. I guess that gent from microsoft can chalk up another bug... maybe.
