When you use command post you can use the WinPlace function to specify the size and location of the window of any program you start. It doesn't do anything about the size of the child windows. It also has a program called Wininfo to give you the information about the size and location of the window and will save a WinPlace command with the correct information to the clipboard. It doesn't help with the file manager ,since when I start it with the size I want the child window with the directories runs off the end of the parent window. I just use Command Post instead of the file manager. I've stopped using even the program manager. Command Post isn't as pretty, but I've found that Command Post is more useful once you've got all the menus set up the way you like them. -- Joel Upchurch/Upchurch Computer Consulting/718 Galsworthy/Orlando, FL 32809 joel@peora.ccur.com {uiucuxc,hoptoad,petsd,ucf-cs}!peora!joel (407) 859-0982
