(Specifically, it doesn't cause the input cursor to go to the next line like one would expect.) The documentation indicates that the translation table is set up for RETURN to perform a newline(). Is this a 'feature' or is the documentation misleading and I need to do something else. (BTW, I am using UIL to specify my Text Widget.) Thanks!! annette myjak arm@sps.com
