I'm trying to load and execute a program with dbx. The program is constitued of: -Fortran modules compiled without -g option -C modules compiled with -g option -And of course the Xview lib for which I can't tell about the -g option The executable file is about 695k bytes. What I get is: landry:/home1/apel/boucher/cirsryn % dbx cirsyn Reading symbolic information... gettype: file index too large, fileindex 485268, nextfile 121; at "" (dbx) What can I do about my problem? Does this mean that my case is hopeless? Would gdb work better ? So, being quite in a hurry to find a bug I would greatly appreciate any help concerning the use of dbx. You can send your answers via E-mail. Thank's in advance. -- Stephane Boucher Institut de Recherche d'Hydro-Quebec boucher@ireq.hydro.qc.ca
