I have made a few changes to it so that it now reads standard input for commands. So far I have implemented commands to allow the user to: interactively set the debug and verbose-ness levels (including a no-output level), set a monitor on a particular request, and count the number of times each request type is called. If anyone is interested in getting these changes please mail me. However, I would rather the author contact me with his e-mail address so I can send him the changes and have them incorporated. Also, has anyone fixed xscope so that it handles blocked writes? At the moment it just disconnects the client if a write would block. A better technique would be to queue the output, waiting until the socket is writable.
