We just got the motif source tapes and are trying to compile them.
Although I kind of doubted that typing 'make' would work, I'm 
having all forms of problems, probably  stemming from the imakes,
'-I' include specifications and Makefiles, in general.

I'm running X11R4 on a Sun SLC running SunOS 4.1.  Also, we don't 
install X in the "standard" places.  Does anyone that has gone
through this before have any advise, or particular pitfalls to 
watch out for?  I'm not being specific, since it seems like these
are base level problems with the configuration.

Any input will be appreciated.  Thanks.
