OPTONICA Model no. 1414 MK II turntable

I recently got a turntable, which I know little about:

Optonica Model No. 1414 MK II
33/45 speed - belt drive - automatic turntable
made by Sharp Electronics

Any ideas on when these were made?
Is this a good quality turntable?
What type of cartridge should I use in it?
Does anyone have instructions on how to adjust the
weights - tracking force and (I assume) anti-skating?
Anyone still have a manual which they could photocopy
and USMail or email the instructions?
