They ranged from the time an enlisted supply petty officer ran his forklift into the side of an F-14 while he was watch a couple of female visitors on the ship to aircraft sliding down the flight deck after striking the ramp. Once, we took close to a thousand shots of an F-14 that was totally destroyed. I remember standing in the photolab with some of the other photographers, watching a near crash and almost cheering that the airplane would go over the side so there wouldn't be any thing to take pictures of.
