He is currently in a a Abha, Saudi Arabia where he for many years has been teaching medical students biochemistry and doing a little blood protein research. He is not allowed to stay in KSA beyond Sept. 1 1990. A native West Bank Palestinian, he does not wish to go to the West Bank. No schooling is available there for his children. He has a green card from the US-INS and is thus wanting employment in the U.S. Although a permanent position would be great, he is willing to take a temporary teaching and/or research position. He received his Ph.D. in biochemistry from Oklahoma State University, performing his thesis research on maize storage proteins. Postdoctoral training was with Drs. Hartman (Oak ridge) and Erslev (Jefferson Medical College). His postdoctoral training included extensive protein chemistry work including peptide sequencing and molecular cloning of nucleic acids. His publication list contains 15 publications. He is fluent in english and his accent is no impediment to understanding.
