Wohlgemuth) Followup-To: comp.databases Organization: U of Florida Engineering Computer Support Facility Lines: 14 We are looking for a Unix DBMS with front ends for IBM PC compatibles and Apple Macintoshes. The data will probably reside on a Sun 4/280, and be accessed by PC's, Mac's, and other Unix machines throughout campus. Any information, recommendations, or war stories would be greatly appreciated. On a related note, the data will originally be downloaded from an IBM 3090. Any suggestions as to the best way to get the data would also be appreciated. Currently, we have BARR Systems' RJE package, which allows a PC to act as a remote. This will work, but if anyone has a better idea, I'd like to hear it. Thanks, Mike
