I just upgraded the software from bsd4.2 to bsd4.3 (isi rel 5.1) and when I do the build now (using m-isi-ov.h and s-bsd4-3.h) temacs bombs with a EMT trap. I've already built this version on bsd4.2 with no problems. Looking over the m- file I notice that it is force loading the mc and m libs to fit the crt0.c file used. (Note: the EMT bomb is on a fmove instruction and I don't have hardware fp support) Anyway, I know why it is bombing. What I'm asking is "Has anyone made a version of crt0.c for isi's bsd4.3 that works WITHOUT requiring hardware fp support?" When I use the regular c libs I get the responce you'd expect. The environment vars are not passed correctly into temacs. It doesn't bomb but its useless since it can't figure out where the h*ll it is!! The last edit date on the m- file is from '88. Has anyone fixed this yet or do I have to deconvolute what isi did to the c startup?? Thanx in advance.. Dan Smith -- Network Software Body @ UNO
