  They make a set of HyperCard XCMDs that drive Control-L and Control-S-capable
  VCRs.  Includes the cable.  All Hi8 VCRs and camcorders, most 8mm camcorders,
  and all Sony VHS video players and recorders will work with the s/w.

  turn control all S-VHS & profesisonal VTRs, switchers, and video disk
  players. They have their own protocol and network--you control their
  box, they control everything else. Clean, packaged solution.
