(Ex. you can set the serial > parameters from the parallel port.) I have code which changes the serial port's baud rate. I send it to the printer via the said serial port and it works quite nicely. It confuses my spooler software since there is some amount of page count discussion after every job and it occurs at the wrong speed, but that's nothing that a spooler restart won't fix.
