It is listing my hostname twice in UUCP mail but only once in SMTP mail. An example is From: super user My From: line is defined as such in my sendmail.cf: H?F?From: $q My $q macro is defined as such in my sendmail.cf: Dq$?x$x <$g>$|$g$. and I don't have $g defined anywhere, so something is creating that for me. $g is supposed to be the sender address relative to the recipient. I tried using /usr/lib/sendmail -bt to test, but that only seems to work on testing addresses. Can someone please point me in the right direction for solving this. In the process, I have gotten better at parsing and understanding the rule and I am using an article from Charles Hedrick from Apr 88. Thanks for any help.
