Sorry, I used OS/2 v1.1 on an adaptec RLL controller, talking to a Micropolis 80M hard disk, with no problems at all. The adaptec controllers emulate (in hardware) the WD1003 hard disk interface. I think the problem is somewhere else. Many clone BIOS's cannot run OS/2, and there are also problems with clone keyboards too.
