KARUNARANTE) Organization: Univ of Nevada System Computing Services - Las Vegas Lines: 17 Could someone please let me know how to use a tape backup sytem under OS/2 1.2. It is very inconvenient to backup a large hard drive using floppies. Since OS/2 requires the use of large hard drives I believe that there must be a way to use a tape backup system under OS/2. Also, I assume that it must be possible because I have not heard many complaints of not being able to do so. I have unsuccessfully tried to use one in the DOS box (as there is no OS/2 tape backup software). I can use it under native DOS. But that would not let me access my HPFS partitions. 1. Are there any tape drives which one can use under OS/2 or in the DOS box? 2. Do any tape drive manufacturers provide drivers for OS/2? 3. Is there a generic driver? I would appreciate your response very much. Thanks in advance.
