IBM sells two tape backup systems for the PS/2 running OS/2 V1.2. The first is an external streaming tape drive using 1/2" cartridge tape. It comes with Sy-TOS backup software (IBM 6157). IBM sells two models of the drive itself, the first (Model 001) writes 80mb tapes, the second (Model 002) writes 160mb. IBM now also has an internal 8mm tape backup for the PS/2. It comes with backup software as well. We've used both of these drives at Metaphor -- the streamer extensively -- and they work quite well. pmf *** These are my opinions, not those of Metaphor Computer Systems +---------------------------+------------------------------------------------+ | Phil Fernandez | philf@metaphor.com | | Director, System Software | ...!{apple|decwrl}!metaphor!philf | | Development | | | Metaphor Computer Systems | "Does the body rule the mind, or does the mind | | Mountain View, CA | rule the body?
