This is the kind of posting that reminds me of someone who's too lazy to open
a phone book and calls 411 (Information Operator) instead.  As people know, I
go out of my way to help someone who's at least done their homework and THEN
posts a plea for help to the net.  Sigh.

In any event ...

Princeton is not exactly a backwater hick-town, surely there's a Mac store
on campus or nearby where you can get a "Mac system cable" for about $30; if
you're really cheap (or lazy), browse a Computer Shopper magazine for even
better discount prices mail-/telephone-order.  You could also look at my
other posting to this newsgroup today for the actual wiring correspondences
of the 25 and 50 pin connectors (correspondence by signal name).
