Princeton is not exactly a backwater hick-town, surely there's a Mac store on campus or nearby where you can get a "Mac system cable" for about $30; if you're really cheap (or lazy), browse a Computer Shopper magazine for even better discount prices mail-/telephone-order. You could also look at my other posting to this newsgroup today for the actual wiring correspondences of the 25 and 50 pin connectors (correspondence by signal name).
