Besides, NCSA and InterCon deserve the plugs. I got NCSA Telnet from zaphod.ncsa.uiuc.edu via anonymous FTP. It's in a reasonably obvious directory. I've used both self-contained and MacTCP versions. Both work well. NCSA Telnet supports an FTP server, but not a client. That means you can Telnet to a place then have it connect back to your Macintosh via FTP. So you can't use anonymous FTP. I'm now using TCP/Connect II from InterCon. Overall I like it a lot. It has everything NCSA Telnet has plus an FTP client, mail, news, and even SNMP.
