Message-ID: <171@tots.UUCP> Date: 9 Aug 90 23:10:27 GMT Reply-To: tep@tots.Logicon.COM (Tom Perrine) Organization: Logicon, Inc., San Diego, California Lines: 25 OK, I'll admit it. I've been watching people asking about KA9Q TCP/IP for over a year and thinking: "Boy am I glad I don't need to network any PCs." :-) Guess what. I need to find a UDP/IP protocol suite that I can run on a 386 with a 3Com 503(?) ethernet card to allow someone to write a PC application that can communicate with an application on a Sun via UDP. Does the KA9Q stuff provide the hooks I need to write my own PC application that uses UDP? Is it a socket-style interface? Does Sun's PC-NFS provide such hooks? I don't need NFS, but I know that NFS is built on top of UDP. Can I get to the UDP interface?
