I fought with it for three days, at least 1 of which was just making sure I had all the pieces to build a -G 0 library. It was that frustration that led me to start work on the G0 converter. Unfortunately, it's still a ways from working right. Once you've finished though, it's well worth it. The fastest fad animation I've ever seen was on my DECstation 2100. The 3100 can only be better.
