Can you expand on this? What percentage? If they fail, will they do so right away? Or be more insidious and wait awhile? The 1M x 4 SCRAMS seem to really be the way to go for long term memory upgrade. 6M might not seem so much in a year or two. BTW, who are manufacturing these beasts (1M x 4), anyway?
