I recently purchased ( through the net ) an original Amiga. And so far the technical information I have been able to gather has been slim. I desperately want to increase its power but don't know what is possible. I have the following questions: Is there any real difference between an Amiga (circa 1984) and an Amiga 1000? If so, what? The memory has been expanded to 512k ( ooooohhhhhh, aaaaaaahhhhh :^) ) How can I expand it to 1-4 meg? I desperately need a hard drive ( 40+ ), how much can I expect to pay and is there any problems putting one in ? What speed is the cpu running at? and did/do Amigas come standard with a math coprocessor? (it sure doesn't feel like it :^)) How much will a 68880 cost? Is it worth the price to upgrade to a 2000? (I know, opionion) Pleas mail any responses you have to unicorn@world.std.com as I am falling behind on my netnews reading. Thanks in Advance, The Wizard of AHs
