Message-ID: <1990Aug7.160438.6451@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu> Date: 7 Aug 90 16:04:38 GMT Sender: tundra@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu (John Kemp) Organization: University of Illinois at Urbana Lines: 17 We just got a copy of Mac "X". Overall, I would say it looks pretty full featured. I have just been watching someone else with very little "X" knowledge use it. Except, how in the heck can you CUT a GRAPHIC DISPLAY from an X window and PASTE it into a Mac application? (Technically, it seems like it shouldn't be that difficult.) Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated, -------- john kemp ( ( )_ internet - kemp@uiatma.atmos.uiuc.edu ----- ( ( __) decnet - uiatmb::kemp --- univ of illinois (_ ( __) bitnet - {uunet, convex} -- dept of atmos sci .(____). !uiucuxc!uiatma!kemp - 105 s gregory ave ... phone - (217) 333-6881 - urbana, il 61801 ... fax - (217) 444-4393
