DTR is on permanently and when the comm program is set to 2400 baud the send and receive lights are both held high, so I KNOW somethging's really wrong. I'm going to be out of commission for a whil. I'm afraid the local apple dealer won't be able to do anything but a motherboard swap (ouch). I can live without the serial ports, I guess, but it's a pain not being able to use the printer.
