As I understand it, when you move a file, you are actually copying the file and then deleting the original (if this is wrong, PLEASE correct this). Would it be possible to make a patch that just changes the directory path of the file when moving it, rather then having to copy the entire file - this is especially helpful when the file is large, not to mention if you are pushing the limit of your drive size (500k left and you want to move a 600k file) or if your drive is already getting highly fragmented files.
