A working clone would do the job fine (I believe there was a Hitachi model that was compatible). If so, please contact me at the phone number below, by e-mail, or evenings at (203) 322-7222. The VR241 is the color monitor for Rainbows and (I think) VT241's, (PRO's?) etc. Doesn't matter how old, as long as it works! b) I've logged onto bulletin boards in the past that claimed to be running RD53 (70Mb) hard disks. While I know the Rainbow HD controller will handle that disk (it's actually the biggest one you can use), how do you connect it? The standard Rainbow hard disk data cables don't fit through the openings in the RD53 case! Any information will be welcome. The RD53 became "available" after a disk upgrade to my uVAX. Thanks in advance! If you know the answer to either of these questions, please don't leave it to someone else to answer - it's been my experience that only a few people can help on such matters, and if you all remain silent . . . . . ======================================================================== OBRIEN%OBRIEN@YALEVMS Jim O'Brien, Dept. of Chem.
