I saw it and it looks exactly like a VR241 however it has several pin attachments on its back in addition to the red, blue, green plugs like the VR241. The box it came in says 'Touch screen'. I wondered if I could plug my Bow into it and have a color monitor. I anyone has any information on the thing I would appreciate it. I think I can get it for around $100. Any additional comments on the price would be appreciated too. - --- Opus-CBCS 1.12 * Origin: Glacier Peak Rainbow, Bellevue, WA - 206/644-8431 ------------------------------ Date: 08-08-90 (07:39) To: FRANK MALLORY Subject: RE: WUTIL From: CHRIS RYAN I cannot answer about WUTIL3.11, but WUTIL 3.2 does not work under MS-DOS 3.10b. The only way around it is to run WUTIL 3.2 on a boot diskette of DOS 3.10a. Then use the upgrade option in DOS 3.10b to upgrade the loaders and DOS hidden files, after the H.D. has been formatted. It does work, that is how I did my ST-225. Has anybody tried anything like this with a H.D. that requires a partition ( >32Meg)? - --- * Origin: Long_Island RB (Opus 1:102/138) ------------------------------ Date: 08-10-90 (14:37) To: CHRIS RYAN Subject: RE: WUTIL From: FRANK MALLORY CR> I cannot answer about WUTIL3.11, but WUTIL 3.2 does not work under CR> MS-DOS 3.10b. I have been doing the same thing, using WUTIL v2 under DOS 3.10.016, then upgrading to 3.10b. What features does WUTIL v3 have that v2 didn't have? Unless it gives you a more efficeint interleave or something, I don't see any point in using it. CR> It does work, that is how I did my ST-225. Yes, I did it that way on my 40MB Miniscribe 3650 and 64MB RD53. - --- msged 1.99L MSC * Origin: Silver Bullet - Silver Spring, Md. - 301-622-2247 ------------------------------ Date: 08-09-90 (14:36) To: ALL Subject: PROBLEMS.
