I compiled it with XDEBUG and sometimes the string XTread_socket is continually repeated until the inevitable bus error, but not always. The bus error occurs after virtual memory is exhausted. I am running X11 patch 18, standard MIT, standard Emacs 18.55, no default.el, no .emacs, no site.el. I have no problems with this Emacs compiled on a SUN3 with SunOS 4.0.1. I tried the patch about TIOCSIGSEND with no luck. What is my obvious mistake? Pleeze help needed! Any pointers will gratefully be dereferenced.
