Tried dropping the CPU in a Compaq 386 (also 16Mhz) and the machine wouldn't even boot. Soooo... anyone know if Intel has any upgrade policies on at least the 386 chip itself? Or am I just shit out of luck? ("Stick with name brands, you'll be okay.." Yeah, riiiight..)
