I am doing some consulting for a clothing manufacturer, and they would like to do inventory using Bar Codes. I know there are bar code readers that hook directly into the keyboard or RS232 of an IBM compatible, however, does anyone know of a stand alone, self contained storage/power, which can then dump the accumulated data into a computer, either by floppy or serial port? I know portable bar code readers exist, I've seen them in stores. But I do not know whether they interface directly with a computer, are self contained storage or perhaps are connected via radio to the storage device. Any help greatly appreciated, Marc
