We have 2 ATT6300 at work and since I must maintain the machines I've notived a
difference between them and out other PCs, and ATs. The ATTs seem to control
HDs differently. They have Western digital controllers and Miniscribe drives
which seem to work but my benchmarks on them indicate BAD data transfer
performance (17K/sec! by coretest.exe). An interleave adjustment program cannot
determine the interleave of the drive (all tested interleaves behave the
same!?!). Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? How much could msdos 3.2
(currently installed) affect the performance (ie. not ATT dos 3.2) ?
