Considering that one can buy a brand new keyboard for $30-$70, for a PC Clone, one begins to understand why COMPAQ does not use the standard keyboard connector for its keyboards. Solution: COMPAQ uses the same keyboard connector as MacIntosh, so buy a PC-to-MAC keyboard adaptor (to convert the 5 pin to a 6 pin connector), and whalla ... now connect a standard PC Clone keyboard ... Hey, it works for me. -- -- | UUCP: {alembic, hadron, grebyn}!inco.UUCP!pauls (Paul Stygar) | | MDESC, 8201 Greensboro Drive, McLean, VA 22102 (703) 883-3998 | | BEGIN_DISCLAIMER;_____The_views_expressed_by_me_in_no_way_reflect_the | | views_of_McDonnell_Douglas_or_its_subsidiaries._______END_DISCLAIMER; |
